Emotions are pretty shallow or extreme for me. They either scrape the surface or dig deep into the core. It kinda reminds me of the all or nothing rule with the firing of axons. But that's just nerd talk. Generally speaking, this is what I'll listen to, but when I find a new band to be obsessed with, I'll just put them on loop for a month regardless of mood.

Happiness! I love happiness. It's funny. Happiness is a type of mania in which happiness can easily become madness at the blink of an eye. I usually listen to my favorite songs and favorite bands. -cough- Base Ball Bear -cough-. -cough- BIGMAMA -cough-. Yup.
Black Sheep - The Pillows
Yes, only one song. When I get sad, I get extremely sad. Black Sheep is a song that makes me cry because the tone of the song and the lyrics just really shout to me. When I'm sad, I have to get the tears out of my system before I can do anything. I tend to avoid things when I'm like this, so this song just helps the process along. But other than that, this song is probably one of my favorite songs from The Pillows. The Pillows, in general, are a great band, but this song just never gets old. Even when I'm not sad, it's still pretty powerful.
Cyndi...come back - VELTPUNCH
Sports - VELTPUNCH
我ガ心ニ向日葵ハ咲カズ (question no. 13 version) - VELTPUNCH
YOU and I - STRAIGHTENER
FEEL LIKE A STAR - VELTPUNCH
VANDALISM -Prototype- - STRAIGHTENER
西門の昧爽 - the Hiatus
Chain Reaction - Nothing's Carved in Stone

Oh boredom! You're so common... When I'm bored, I indulge in songs with deep meaning in order to cure it. The problem is... the songs I have are sung by vocalists that have boring or mundane tones. Nothing's wrong with that, it gives a more mundane and realistic feel to them, but they're perfect for just background music that doesn't spark energy.
this storyends - winnie
Sleeping Beauty - BIGMAMA
かくれんぼ - BIGMAMA
Chain - BIGMAMA
lost your sky - winnie
虹を食べたアイリス (ベートーヴェン『運命』) - BIGMAMA
No Way Out - BIGMAMA
FREEZING (Stout Version) - STRAIGHTENER
VANISH - STRAIGHTENER
Salamander - ELLEGARDEN
Talking Reptiles - the Hiatus
Centipede - the Hiatus
Song can have an epic feeling to them. Other than instrumentals, I find BIGMAMA just to be the most epic band in the world. The violin kills! I'd put more songs on this list, but it would be too long...
Space Sonic - ELLEGARDEN
The Ivy - the Hiatus
Curse of Mine - the Hiatus
Spiralbreak - Nothing's Carved in Stone
SCISSORS - EGG BRAIN
I'm not very much of a mad person. Anger usually just becomes frustration that soon transforms into sadness. I guess in order to compensate for it, I put songs that I listen to when I'm irritated or frustrated. That happens much more often than anger.
I hope that was fun for you. It was for me. Maybe you'll check out some of my favorite bands or not. That makes me wonder though... What is my favorite band...? I'm indebted to Ellegarden and The Pillows because they were my catalysis into the Japanese Indie Punk genre, but Base Ball Bear doesn't fall far from the apple tree. Oh well... Come back tomorrow for my next challenge!
P.S. Ellegarden and Base Ball Bear are amazing live. I listen to their live album covers more than their orginals. Too bad Ellegarden is on "hiatus"...
