Yo! It's been a while since I did one of these .

So yeah. College starts at the end of the month. I move into my dorm on the 26th (maybe I'll take pictures of it when it's all settled...) and my classes start on the 29th. Bummer... Well, in the mean time, I'll enjoy summer to the fullest: eating summer asian food and kicking back, animating. There was an update, well two if you count that lame one two weeks ago. Althought we did not receive Subclasses, we did get some information about them... Let's take a look.


Chaa... In the update 2 weeks ago, the only things of note was we got a new ring in Fashion Shop and that the Ninja Master's map was added. Did you know if you have two people with the Critical Ring together, you can manipulate the letters to say Cala? It's awesome. But I digress. In this most recent update, we got a new event and LaDeck saw some changes. WAIT. There's this too.

Fall huh? So very vague OGPlanet... but thanks for the information. We at least know they're working on it. Well, let's put in our bets now. I say... November or something. Maybe even December. Since file lurking has given me insight, I can observe that terrain maps, layer mobs and quest lists take the longest time to do. Take your time OGPlanet. Just make sure you do it right the first time. But back to the event.Treasure hunting anyone? You can find the event information here. First, go to the Elias Fancy Shop and buy a Treasure Exploration Hat for 1,000 Ely.

When you equip this item, you'll find 4 item skills in your skill list.

Next, find some treasure maps. Maybe farming them at the usual spot would be good. There are 4 maps that correspond with 4 areas in LaTale.

From here, you use a map that corresponds with the area you are in. For example, you would use a Forest map if you're in the Forest Area. After you run around like an idiot for few moments, you'll see a yellow treasure chest, much like the one you see in the Ruin Walker idle animation. When you see this, you use the appropriate item skill to dig on that spot. Most of the time, a Priring Swallowed Treasure, a Privaring Swallowed Treasure, or a Muscling Swallowed Treasure will spawn. Occasionally, a Treasure Chest will appear.

The monsters will drop various types of ores, however, I tend to ignore them. The Treasure Chests are the ones that give the meat of the event. You will commonly get Paints like Gemstone Stand Paints and Crystal Stand Paints, Chance Chances! and Magic Box of Yarn Mineral. The Crystal Stand Paint is a new Paint, but you can't store it in your Fashion Shop. It is bankable although.

Sometimes, you'll get Point Recovery Medicines such as AP Point Recovery Medicine, DP Point Recovery Medicine and CP Point Recovery Medicine. These recover the appropriate 3rd Job's Point Meter to use their skills. This kinda reminds me of the Drive Recovery in Kingdom Hearts 2. I never used it, but it was there.

Occasionally, you will get Weak Special Armor Coupons, Weak Special Accessory Coupons, Pet Enchant Gems (Physical) and Pet Enchant Gems (Magical). The Weak Special Armor Coupons are special in a sense that Kong Beauty Shield can be obtained by this coupon. The Pet Enchant Gems are just probably a scheme by OGPlanet to make people buy astros to buy Pet Enchant Reassigns, even though it's nice having them. Rarely, you may get a Goose of Golden Egg.

Do you remember these? Ah... I remember them well. I'm adding them to my collection. I haven't had time to level a level 20 Ugly Egg to get a 24k Gold Egg, but I'll work on it... Never.
As I do this, Prirings, Privarings and Musclings surround me in the map. I feel bad for keeping them alive, but I don't want ores. I want treasure.

The treasure maps are tradeable, unlike those Green Thumbs. If you find that you farmed more than what you can use, always give them to someone who cannot farm for themselves! It's the nice thing to do. Let's talk about LaDeck.

LaDeck is said to have some "changes," however, the changes are not satisfactory to the population. What I ask is that why Paints are in LaDeck? I mean, yeah, sure. They are desirable. The Lace Stand Paint is something that I ADORE. I have the top part in my blog header and I even used the bottom part for the Inflation Blog's Welcome animation, but there could be something more useful in its stead. Well, I digress. Until OGPlanet listens to what the players ask, LaDeck will be a lackluster feature.

So, life. How's life? Life's good. I'm just trying to indulge into my hobbies in and out of LaTale before summer comes to an abrupt end. Be sure to use every moment wisely. Sometimes you can't get that time back. Remember! Shizuo > Izaya. Always. Always coco99. Always.
