Almond Joys.

Trick or Treat!

Smell my feet! Give me something good to eat! Good thing I'm not knocking on any of your doors tomorrow. I'd steal all of your Almond Joys. Delcious, delicious Almond Joys. Regardless of the night crawling, LaTale has been blessed with a Halloween Event, but oh woe, the bitter sweetness of their event isn't as sweet as the glorifying glory of 3rd Jobs... But I digress. Let's see what types of sweets they're giving out

So, I was walking around Elias, minding my own business. It's what I do. All of the sudden, a huge lag spike hit me and I came face to face to a frightening monstrosity...

That's one large pumpkin pop. In order to participate in the event you must buy the Jack 'O' Lantern Hunting Mask that is available at the Elias Fancy shop left of the Free Market. Once equiped, you bring up your skills and find the Jack 'O' Lantern Turn Off skill under Item Skills under Misc Skills. The turn off skill has two uses in this event. If you use it on the large pumpkin pop (let's call him Jumpkinz), you'll deal 1 damage, killing him slowly until he decides to give you a reward.
After 1000 hits, Jumpkinz will start to pale.

After an additional 500 hits, Jumpkins will become monochrome. After another 250 hits, Jumpkins starts to feel nauseous. After a final 125 hits, Jumpkins will poop out your reward and be phoenix downed into oblivion.

In the long run, why would you want to do this? The reward is a 100% experience buff that would come in handy if you're grinding.

Happy Halloween indeed...

The second event using the turn off skill involves these tall, skinny, frightening Jack 'O' Lanterns named Gentlemen Jacks. It's quite petrifying to see one coming towards you with their devilish grin and menacing stare, but don't fret! They're as harmless as they are scary. What a gentleman.

So, you use the skill on them, throwing a snowball that instantly kills them, and they'll drop a prize. They drop Halloween fashion, Pumpkin Candy, but most importantly, Halloween Candy Baskets.

Most players farm these Jacks just for their baskets. Mobbing such a gentleman just for their candy. Then again... it's as easy as stealing candy from a baby. You can get quite a few things from the baskets, but nothing too ground breaking. There's the random Chocolate Cream Puff and the occasional Tomato Sandwich. Sometimes there's some Halloween fashion like the Sufferer's Top and Bottom, Leg Grips, Arm Grips, and Head Bandages. Yeah, did I mention Candy Daggers and Chocolate Shields? Waitt... What?

So OGPlanet didn't really let us down. Everyone has the chance to get the Halloween Emotes, some Candy Daggers and Chocolate Shields, and there's a pack of emotes on sale in the Fashion Shop. However, most of us are stuck due to the guild function glitch . No more crops until they get it fixed. Until then, Inflation makes due of the time by dancing around, star gazing, and being a public menace.

Ah... Sweet dreams and a good night for you don't know what's out there to be the thing that goes bump in the night.
