Hello!

Man, what a week. Lots of changes, in real life and on LaTale. Last Wednesday we got a new update, people again rushed to the OGPlanet site and trolls bombarded the forums, and yet we are again disappointed with another fashion update. Depressing, I know right? Oh well, we've got to work with what we've got, am I wrong?



So, as I said, a lot happened and a lot didn't happen. I'm just here to cover what happened in my insignificant life. Follow me everyone!



This is just going to be a messy array of unorganized bursts of events that happened roughly in the order of their occurrence, so excuse the lack of titles and dates. When your brain is mind raped by the wonders of Paul Verlaine's Il Pleure Dans Mon Coeur and the insanities of The Epic of Gilgamesh, you tend to have a short term memory.



So first,





My Sweet Angel, Johnette (appropriately named, yes?) got revived due to my recent activities. I've had her since level 80 and I've used her since. There are sometimes I've wanted to kill her and get a better pet, but I just can't replace the many memories she's picked up the crap from the ground for me. Ah...





John got me a Baby Return Adjuvant for Johnette. I love you girl, but your wings are just too big. The only bad part about having her is that her sprite is just so ginormous that it's bigger than my own sprite. Oh well...





At least she's still cute in her baby form!

In the past few days, or at least events, I've been going back to my favorite hobby in LaTale. No, it isn't quests. I have to wait until new maps populate the server to jump on the quest rush. It's actually crafting.





I'm a level 31 food alchemist and I enjoy it so very much; from the farming to the crafting and to the presentation of the food.



Since John is doing so much Colesseum, he's guzzling down so much food and he's running low. With no grind partner, I'm left to resort to farming material for his food, along with some extras.



Sometimes I go to Red Ninjas if nobody is grinding there...




But most of the time I'm at Cookie Garden.




You don't really realize it unless you're a food alchemist that Cookie Garden has almost ALL of your materials for level 4 food is confined in those 6 little maps. I should know because I farmed Cookie Garden 6 for more than 4 weeks just to level my craft. But, all in all it's pretty worth it.




The only thing that discourages you is when this happens...




Other than creatable food, Cookie Garden has quest food that you can dig and farm for. I tried to dig for the cookies off an item drop rate event, but the drop rate was too low. It's better that you dig for those blasted cookies on the item drop rate event and turn them all in. At least then you can sell the things you don't need.





Before I forget, I found something very interesting while I was reading food descriptions in my alchemy menu.




Oh, not that. This.




On Saturday morning, I made Vietnamese crystal rolls with peanut sauce. When I read this, my reaction was of laughter and rolling on the ground. I'm just putting that out there. Ah~ The wonders of my observations. Sometimes you even observe this.






So, I seem to be lugging around a foreign object on my back.




Yes yes, I'm jumping on the Ishutaru's Cyber Wings bandwagon, I mean everyone is making me feel lonely and left out without those beasts on my back. I darted for them Saturday, but my board was being jacked.





Do you see where my cursor is? That's the square where my wings were. Do you see all the random darting around the systematic darting? That's where the person who wanted to jack my board darted. Don't you hate that feeling that you've assured that nothing will get in the way of your goal and then someone just appears to ruin all your plans? That fear shook through my heart as it pounded with great furiosity, quickly clicking on the little boxes and almost skipping over the 1st place animation. This was my reaction, along with John's.





What a wonderful way to strike fear into your heart, no?



Well, you all must be wondering. I mean, it's under my in game name and it represents the person you are apparently.





Things just... happened I guess.




I just believe that rumors and drama occurs because you want attention and you want your position to be heard. And you know what I say to that? Just let it all go and move on with your life.





I'm quite happy really. Inflation is lead by my one and only JohnGee and it's pretty active. Could use more girls though~ We've got a goal and we're going to fulfill it. Just watch us.





We'll just die and pick ourselves up in the process. Have a few laughs too. The power of happiness is one of the most contagious powers yet!



Oh, but I digress. The new update last Wednesday gave us new fashion and a new event. As I rumaged around Belos, I found some new faces.



The Auction House NPC is here?




And Seasonal Janice?




I dunno about the Auction House NPC, but the Seasonal Janice is new. When you talk to her, this happens. My commentary is below the picture. Enjoy.





Oh, um, hai Luna? I thought I was talking to Seasonal Janice, but okay. At least you're prettier to look at. What's this? Are those players... 3rd Jobbers? Is this a sign Luna? I'm not even reading what you have to say since the words NOISY NOISY is distracting me from the text. How is it really noisy anyways? I mean, they aren't talking. They're probably just whispering each other.





Ack! A newcomer! It's that guy from Elias that you talk to in order to create a guild. It seems that they're describing an event! See those images in the middle? Those are the items you need to collect for this event! Now... Are you going to tell us where to get these items?





Great observation Luna! Now, it would be helpful if you were a little more informative than observant. It would be implied here also that LaTalers respond and talk in rainbows shooting from their mouths. If they shout in union, the rainbows somehow combine and stars and clouds come out of it. ...What?





Happy 2nd Year Anniversary Luna! Now... where can I find the plot?
